What comes to your mind when you hear the words, "Now we're going to read Shakespeare!" Do you cringe in fear? Do you giggle with glee? What past experiences have you had with Shakespeare to make you react the way you do?
When I hear Shakespeare my reaction is "Sweet." I really like his comedies but I don't like tradegies and I don't like analyzing literature. I've read and seen his plays done, and I think they are hilarious. My favorite being Much Ado About Nothing. I am all for doing Shakespeare except for the homework and jazz that comes with it.
